I am still writing about: her

Ever wondered where I got my inspiration for Limerence? This is a story of my life.

Walking through the park with her hand in mine, I felt like the luckiest person alive. It was New Year’s Eve 2018, and I knew that this night would always be etched in my memory as the happiest night of my life.

After months of waiting, we had finally made things official, despite the complications that came with our relationship. But none of that mattered as long as she was by my side, making me feel like nothing in the world could bring me down.

We had planned our date weeks in advance, and it was everything I had hoped it would be. From the moment I picked her up from the bus interchange near her house, I knew that this was going to be a special night.

As we walked towards the foyer, the anticipation around us was palpable. Laughter and cheers echoed throughout the park, as everyone eagerly waited for the fireworks display that would usher in the new year. But for me, the only thing that mattered was her.

We walked hand in hand, taking in the sights and sounds of the park. The Christmas lights still adorned the trees, casting a warm glow over the area. Couples strolled by, wrapped in each other’s arms, as children ran around, excitedly anticipating the start of the fireworks.

Finally, we reached the foyer, and found a spot to stand where we could get a good view of the fireworks display. As we waited for the show to begin, I looked at her, feeling grateful for everything that had led us to this moment.

Our relationship had been complicated from the start, but we had worked through every obstacle that had come our way. And now, standing in the park on New Year’s Eve, I knew that it was all worth it.

The countdown began, and we joined in, eagerly awaiting the start of the fireworks. And when they began, it was like the world exploded into pure bliss.

The colors lit up the sky, and I held her close, feeling like nothing in the world could bring me down. As the fireworks came to a close, we stood there, still wrapped in each other’s arms, not wanting the moment to end.

Looking back at the video we took while she was in my arms that night, I realize that it was the moment that changed everything. It was the moment I knew that I had found my happiness, and even though she’s no longer a part of my life, the memory of that night still fills me with warmth and joy.
